Thank you for your interest in my blog.
Please check the following FAQs before contacting me.
Because I work on my blog in my limited free time, I can't respond personally to all questions.
To get the knitting patterns I link to, go to one of my pages, scroll down the page to the individual pattern you want, and click on the link to that pattern that is under the pattern description.
You will be redirected to another website where the pattern designer has hosted the pattern.
I do not own the patterns but link to other websites. I cannot send you the patterns I link to.
I have posted links to thousands of patterns and I don't remember them all.
So I need more than a picture or a general description to tell you where to find the pattern link.
Please provide as much of the following information as you can:
- If you found a pin, provide a link to the actual pin. When you click on the pin, copy the URL in your browser and send it to me.
- Provide the actual name of the pattern. If this was one of my pins, I always include the name of the pattern in the pin description. Click on the pin and copy the name and description to send to me.
- The address or name of the destination page on my website. I have posted 300 pages of lists of pattern links and don't remember what's on each one. If you have the link to the page you were directed to or the title of the page (such as Rug Knitting Patterns) that would be helpful.
When you have this information, you can send it to terry@intheloopknitting.com and I will see if I can track it down.
Please note, that I only link to patterns by other designers on other websites. I do not own the patterns and cannot send them to you. I can only direct you to where to find it, if it is available.
Also note that the pattern may no longer be available. I remove unavailable patterns from my website.
These patterns are not my designs and I have not knit them myself so I cannot provide support for them.
If you have a question about how to knit a particular pattern, contact the designer of the pattern directly through their website or throught Ravelry, if they are on Ravelry.
Thank you for catching a broken link.
Please send me the name of the pattern and the page on my website that you found the broken link.
p>Send that information to terry@intheloopknitting.com and I will see if I can get it fixed. I will let you know if I can find the pattern at another link. Be aware that some broken links may mean that the pattern is no longer available or no longer free.I do my best when I originally post a pattern to validate that it is free at that time. I never knowingly post a for-purchase pattern as free, though we all make mistakes.
However, the designer or the company that owns the pattern has the complete right to start charging for their patterns. They have put a lot of work into designing and supporting the pattern and deserve some compensation.
Sometimes they notify me; most of the time, they do not.
Also, be aware that pinners or other websites can put whatever description they want in their pins or posts and may label a pattern as free when it isn't.
I do not own the pattern and cannot send it to you.
I would be grateful if you would let me know if you find pattern that is no longer free so I can remove or change the link. Please email the name of the pattern and page on my site where you found it to terry@intheloopknitting.com
Thank you very much for generously sharing your designs with other knitters.
Please send the information about your pattern to terry@intheloopknitting.com and I will be happy to consider adding it to the site if it fits into any posts I am working on.
